A good sized and self-ballasted fluorescent bulb i for rainforest reptiles. It is to combine a high UVB output (Reptile UVB 150) with a very high visual light output (Natural Light) for optimal results. Fluorescent bulbs do not provide sufficient heat. A separate heat source is required in addition (ex: incandescent basking lamp). The Exo Terra Reptile UVB 100 has a moderate to high UVB output, similar to that of rain forests where the weather is hot but there's plenty of shade.
