Unlike LED lamps which only provide moonlight, these Exo Terra NightGlo Moonlight Lamps are fluorescent bulbs, and therefore provide heat too, better recreating the residual warmth of a more tropical environment, as well as lighting your reptile's way in a manner that simulates the light from the night sky. These lamps are used with a day/night thermostat to automatically switch to night-time mode. Combine with Exo Terra Repti Glo or Sun Glo for a 24 hour cycle.
