The Pets at Home Bearded Dragon Substrate is a blend of soil, sand and grit designed specifically for Bearded Dragons. The blend of materials can be found in the Bearded Dragon's natural environment and are therefore better suited than standard substrates. The mix of particles allow for moisture retention when sprayed, which create wet areas that would be naturally found in hides. Bearded Dragons seek out these damp areas when shedding or require more humidity and this in turn helps to encourage digging.
